The Day Reporting Center (DRC) offers a variety of services to help individuals successfully re-enter society after serving time in jail or prison. These services encourage positive change in overall behavior to reduce recidivism and give participants renewed vision for their future.
Over the past ten years‚ the Shasta County Day Reporting Center has made a significant impact‚ serving over 1‚200 participants. What’s even more remarkable is that sixty-two percent of those who completed the program have not committed a new felony conviction‚ highlighting the effectiveness of their approach.
Everyone in this year's graduating class is either currently employed, owns their own business, or going back to school to further their education!
Though the changes are extremely positive, all change is difficult, and this group has worked very hard to get where they are today. Please Join us in Congratulating this Summer's DRC Graduates!
Thank you to the Shasta County Office of Education for hosting the event, and to the amazing DRC staff who pour so much into their students in order to change lives and better the community.
