David J. Rickert joins us with an exceptional track record of 22 years in county administration. His previous role as Kane County Treasurer in Illinois, coupled with his recent experience as the Chief Financial Officer for Winnebago County, has provided him with invaluable insights into the complexities of local government operations. This extensive experience will undoubtedly benefit Shasta County as we navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Mr. Rickert's academic achievements further underline his commitment to excellence and professional growth. He holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting with honors from Roosevelt University, a testament to his dedication to continuous learning and acquiring a comprehensive understanding of financial management. Additionally, he has been a Licensed Certified Public Accountant for over two decades, a testament to his expertise in fiscal matters.
