Meeting Information and Public Participation
The Shasta County Board of Supervisors meets on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Chambers located at 1450 Court Street, Suite 263, Redding, California.
The Shasta County Air Pollution Control Board meets on Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m. in the Board Chambers.
Scheduled meeting dates for both are available in their respective Annual Calendars located in the left menu.
The Board of Supervisors also serves as the governing board for several Other Agencies, including the Housing Authority, In-Home Support Services Public Authority Governing Board, and Water Agency. These agencies meet on an as-needed basis on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matters may be heard, in the Board Chambers.

Public Comment Registration
If multiple meetings are scheduled on the same day, separate registration is required for the Board of Supervisors meeting and the Other Agencies meeting(s). A single Other Agencies registration allows speakers to register for one or more Other Agency meetings scheduled that day.
The Board of Supervisors allows members of the public to participate in person or by telephone. Other Agencies receive public comments in person only and do not offer telephonic participation.
Speaker registration opens at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the meeting and closes when public comment for each item begins.

Watch Live/Past Meeting Videos: To watch meetings live, click the play icon in the “Options” column. Livestreams are only available while a meeting is in progress. After the meeting concludes, a recording—complete with bookmarks for each agendized item—will be available in the same location, typically by the end of the day on the Friday following the Board meeting.
View Agendas/Packets: To view the agendas or packets, use the links in the "Documents" column.
- "Agenda" opens a PDF agenda without any attachments.
- "HTML Packet" opens an interactive HTML agenda optimized for viewing in web browsers which contains links to the full staff reports and supporting documents.
- Click the gray box that highlights the item to display the list of related documents, including the Staff Report and all attachments. To open each one in the browser, click the eye icon. To download each one, click the cloud icon.
- To download the item's attachments as one PDF file, click the "PDFs" button at the corner of the gray box that highlights the selected item.
- "Packet" is a downloadable meeting agenda optimized for printing, containing all staff reports and supporting documents in one PDF file.
- "Minutes" are available once they are approved by the Board and can be opened as PDF files by clicking on them. Other documents, such as Notices of Cancellation or Continuation, can be opened the same way.
- Please note: Before minutes are finalized and approved, and within ten days of a meeting, a "Summary of Proceedings" is posted under the "Minutes" heading, pursuant to Government Code section 25150, to publicize the actions taken by the Board. Once the minutes are approved, they replace the summary.
