Shasta County Welcomes Wesley Tucker as New Veterans Services Officer

We are excited to announce that Wesley Tucker will be joining the Shasta County Veterans Services Office as the new Veterans Services Officer! Wesley has been an esteemed member of the Shasta County team for some time now, previously working in the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA).

Wesley holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a minor in Cyber Security, from the University of Maryland. He has also served in the United States Army as a Sergeant and Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Communications, where he gained valuable leadership and management skills.

In addition to his military experience, Wesley has worked in HHSA for almost a decade, serving most recently as a Privacy Officer and Project Manager. His expertise in managing projects and ensuring privacy compliance will be invaluable in his new role.

Outside of his professional work, Wesley is also an active volunteer in the community. He has served as Post Commander for the Redding Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 1934 since 2020. His dedication to serving and supporting his fellow veterans is truly admirable.
