Shasta County is proud to announce Tim Lewis, IT Application Support Analyst I with the Information Technology (IT) Department, as the 2024 Employee of the Year. Tim’s exemplary performance, dedication, and innovative problem-solving have made a lasting impact since he joined the County in August 2021.
Tim’s work is marked by meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and technical expertise. His ability to analyze complex systems, propose sound recommendations, and deliver effective solutions has earned high praise from colleagues across multiple departments. Notably, his efforts in supporting the Public Defender’s Office during a critical transition to a new Case Management System demonstrated his commitment to service. Recognizing gaps in the system’s capabilities, Tim took the initiative to develop a custom mini-Case Management System to streamline operations. His resourcefulness and proactive approach set him apart as an invaluable team member.
Since being named Employee of the Month in July, Tim has taken on the role of Lead Low-Code Application Developer. He has mentored staff in creating advanced automations using Microsoft tools and quickly mastered a new low-code platform, OutSystems, to deliver innovative applications for the Health and Human Services Agency. His leadership and enthusiasm continue to drive technological advancements that benefit Shasta County.
Congratulations, Tim, on this well-deserved recognition! Your dedication and professionalism reflect the very best of Shasta County’s workforce.
