The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was passed in 2021 to help the country recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. This resulted in an infusion of funds to cities and counties across the country.
Shasta County has been allocated $34.9 million to invest locally. This money has the potential to have significant impact on our community for years to come.
This money is able to be used in a variety of ways within the ARPA guidelines.
