Jeff Edenburn has been an employee of Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency since March 2024. Jeff consistently provides high-quality internal customer service by being responsive, approachable, and solution oriented. Jeff works collaboratively with staff across programs to resolve and answer fiscal questions and issues efficiently, while also ensuring services continue without unnecessary delays for streamlined processes. For example, when a Public Health unit experienced unusually high utility costs from the provider, Jeff contacted the provider to investigate the issue. Jeff worked directly with them to identify which meter the building was connected to and discovered inaccurate readings. This led to a comprehensive revision of meters and utility readings for the Breslauer Campus, ensuring that the programs across the county are now charged with accurate utility costs.
Jeff consistently demonstrates exceptional professionalism while actively seeking opportunities to improve and streamline Public Health fiscal processes for the benefit of the entire organization. An example of this is his work to discontinue the Public Health Administration allocation after determining that the benefits of maintaining these journals did not outweigh the cost to Shasta County. His thoughtful, data-driven approach reflects a strong commitment to efficiency and responsible fiscal management.
Jeff upholds high standards of ethical conduct by consistently being audit conscious when reviewing invoicing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and fiscal accountability. Jeff prioritizes transparency by keeping his team informed, helping to minimize uncertainty during times of change. Jeff not only supports his team but supports other teams to ensure smooth and streamlined workflow. His willingness to assist others contributes to stability across programs within the Public Health Branch of the Health and Human Services Agency.
Jeff maintains outstanding productivity while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. He reviews numerous invoices and journals on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring deadlines are met, along with making sure his team remains successful. His efficiency and attention to detail help ensure critical work is completed accurately and on time by his team to meet all the required deadlines.
