Chris Kelstrom is a lifelong resident of Shasta County, moving to Cottonwood from Redding in 1988. He graduated from Enterprise High School, the same school as both of his parents, giving him roots that run deep in this community.
With over 40 years of experience working in the private sector specializing in customer service and business management, Chris brings a skill set to the County dedicated to serving the public, operating efficiently, and being fiscally responsible.
As representative for District 5, Chris’ primary areas of interest are to improve drought and fire preparedness, hoping to never see the A.C.I.D Canal empty again, he is also prioritizing improvements to public safety, curbing homelessness and exploring solutions on how to get a new jail built in Shasta County.
