Corkey Harmon offers decades of entrepreneurial and project management expertise to his role as a supervisor. As the owner of Mountain Gate Quarry and Stimpel-Wiebelhaus Associates, he has overseen multimillion-dollar infrastructure projects across the western United States. His leadership in managing large teams and complex operations equips him to address Shasta County’s governance challenges with a business-minded approach.
Corkey’s priorities include fostering collaboration within the Board of Supervisors, supporting law enforcement to enhance public safety, and streamlining County operations to run more efficiently. He is also committed to preserving residents’ rights and rural values while creating a positive workplace culture for County employees.
Born and raised in Shasta County, Corkey attended Shasta College and Oklahoma Baptist University. With extensive experience in contracting, project management, and engineering, he has built a career managing large-scale projects. A dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, Corkey remains deeply connected to his community through his involvement in local organizations and support for youth programs. His lifelong commitment to the area fuels his vision for a prosperous and sustainable future.
