Kinder College at Simpson University

On May 12,2023, Shasta County had the joy of participating in an extraordinary educational event, bringing together hundreds of kindergarteners from various schools. The KinderCollege event, hosted at Simpson University, provided an immersive and interactive experience for the young learners. With over 50 career booths to explore and learn from, this event aimed to inspire and ignite the passion for learning in the hearts of these budding intellectuals.

From doctors and firefighters to artists and engineers, professionals from diverse fields volunteered their time and expertise to showcase their work. These dedicated individuals not only educated the children about their respective careers but also engaged them in hands-on activities and demonstrations. The kindergarteners had the opportunity to ask questions, observe, and even try out certain tasks related to each profession.
