What is the Down Payment Assistance Program?

It provides 0% interest loans to qualified, low-income, first-time home buyers to help with down payment and closing costs.

How much can you borrow?

The loan amount can be up to 40% of the purchase price. The maximum purchase price is $351,000. The borrower must contribute at least 3% of the purchase price to the sale transaction. These funds may be a gift.

Who is eligible?

The program is available to first-time homebuyers who qualify under the income guidelines listed below. First time homebuyer is defined as someone who has not owned a home in 3 years, or who qualifies as a 'displaced home-maker'.

How do I get started?

Start by selecting a mortgage lender and getting a pre-qualification letter. Once you have that get in touch with our office to place your name on the wait list and pick up an application.
