Cannabis Cultivation Regulations

• Ordinance No. SCC 2019-04 Adopted June 18, 2019 by the Board of Supervisors. Ordinance 2019-04 amended and updated section 17.88.320 regulating personal cannabis cultivation.
• Ordinance No. SCC 2017-07 Adopted November 14, 2017 by the Board of Supervisors. Ordinance 2017-07 added section 17.88.325 to the Shasta County Code prohibiting commercial cannabis activity, delivery of cannabis, and temporary events involving the onsite sale or consumption of cannabis in all zones of the unincorporated area. 

Complaints being made regarding cannabis cultivation must be submitted in written form and delivered to the Department of Resource Management. Once the complaint is received and reviewed, it will be forwarded to the appropriate enforcement entity.
