2026 Community Corrections Partnership (CCP)

The Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) was initially established in 2010 as part of a State program to provide funding to improve felony probation services, Penal Code Section 1230. In 2011, Public Safety Realignment (AB 109/AB 117) was established shifting authority over most individuals convicted of what are considered lower-level, non-violent offenses from state to counties, effective on October 1, 2011. Public Safety Realignment expanded the CCP and created the Executive Committee, Penal Code Section 1230.1(b). Realignment also provided that each county CCP shall establish and recommend a local plan to the county Board of Supervisors for implementation. Penal Code Section 1230.1(a).

The CCP Advisory meets on a quarterly basis and the CCP Executive meets on a monthly basis.

The Shasta County Probation Department maintains historical CCP records.
