2024 Community Corrections Partnership (CCP)

The Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) was initially established in 2010 as part of a State program to provide funding to improve felony probation services, Penal Code Section 1230. In 2011, Public Safety Realignment (AB 109/AB 117) was established shifting authority over most individuals convicted of what are considered lower-level, non-violent offenses from state to counties, effective on October 1, 2011. Public Safety Realignment expanded the CCP and created the Executive Committee, Penal Code Section 1230.1(b).
