Traffic Striping

Pavement markings provide guidance and information. They include, centerline and edge-line stripes, object markers, and pavement legends, such as crosswalk markings, stop bars, arrows and wording.

There are over 1,100 miles of stripping on County roads and over 1,700 legends. All of the roadway striping and pavement legends are repainted by County Crews Bi-annually. One-half of the total painted markings are re-painted each year on an alternating basis.
