About:

Lieutenant Sancibrian has been employed with the Sheriff’s Office since 2007 when he began his law enforcement career as a Cadet, assigned to the City of Shasta Lake.

Between 20010-2011 he put himself through the basic law enforcement academy at Shasta College and College of the Redwoods. Lieutenant Sancibrian was hired as a Correctional Officer in 2012 assigned to the Custody Division.

In 2013, Lieutenant Sancibrian was promoted to Deputy Sheriff assigned to the Burney Station to begin his Field Training Program. Upon successful completion of his Field Training Program, Lieutenant Sancibrian was assigned as the Resident Deputy.

In 2016, Lieutenant Sancibrian was selected as the Burney Deputy of the Year. Lieutenant Sancibrian remained the resident Burney area Deputy until 2017, when he was re-assigned to the City of Shasta Lake substation as a Deputy.

While assigned to the City of Shasta Lake substation, he received the 2022 City of Shasta Lake Officer of the Year award.

In 2021 he was temporarily reassigned back to the Burney Station as an Officer in Charge and was ultimately promoted to Sergeant in January 2022.

In July 2023, Lieutenant Sancibrian was reassigned to the Administrative Sergeant position.

On April 22, 2024, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant as commander of the South County station.

Lieutenant Sancibrian has held many collateral assignments such as K9 Agitator, Dive Team, Impact Weapon Instructor, Peer Support Team, Recruitment/Organization Improvement Team, Field Training Officer, Subject Matter Expert for CAD/RMS Systems Spillman/Motorola P1, and Background Investigator.
