The Mayors' City Selection Committee was established in accordance with Government Code section 50270. Its purpose is to appoint city representatives to boards, commissions, and agencies as required by law.
The committee is composed of the mayors from the Cities of Redding, Anderson, and Shasta Lake. The Clerk of the Board convenes the Mayors' City Selection Committee in January each year and as needed. Meetings follow the Brown Act and are open to the public.
