Pre-Approved ADU Plans Now Available

PRE-APPROVED ADU PROTOTYPE PLANS NOW AVAILABLE
The Shasta County Department of Resource Management is Offering Seven Unique ADU Designs Pre-Approved for Use Within the Unincorporated Areas of the County

The Department of Resource Management is pleased to announce the launch of the County’s Pre-Approved Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Prototype Plans Program. Through funding received by the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development under Senate Bill 2, seven unique ADU designs are being offered, free of charge, to property owners and contractors building in the unincorporated areas of the County. Each design has been approved for construction in the County for up to 50lb and 70lb snow load zones and include a variety of amenities and options to choose from.
