Volunteer Groups

The Sheriff's Office has a number of volunteer groups for persons desiring to help make a difference in their community. These groups include chaplains, citizen's patrol, search & rescue, mounted posse, dive posse, jeep posse, search dogs, mountain rescue, man-trackers, flying posse, explorers and reserve deputy. Volunteering for general office help is also appreciated throughout the Sheriff's Office units such as in Records and Animal Regulation.

The Shasta County Sheriff's Office is proud to have such a large number of volunteers and appreciate all that they do.
