Did you know that Shasta County and the State of California have policies regarding the placement of signs on private property which will give law enforcement officials the authorization to address violators on behalf of the property owner in the event of Trespassing and/or squatting?
Property owners must complete and submit a “Consent to Enforce” form (please note the form must be signed and notarized prior to submitting and see the additional requirements detailed on the form).
The form is available at our Records Unit at 300 Park Marina Circle, Redding, or you can print the form from the bottom of this page.
Please note that this form, when completed and active, must be renewed ANNUALLY by the property owner.
