The Public Health Advisory Board advises and assists Public Health in its efforts to improve the health of the community. This encompasses a variety of activities, including acting as Public Health ambassadors in the community, looking at strengths and gaps in the local community health system, recommending policies that improve local health outcomes and providing recommendations on Public Health's strategies, goals and annual budget.
