BenefitsCal is an online portal where Californians can get and manage benefits. This includes:
- Food assistance (CalFresh)
- Cash aid (CalWORKs)
- Health insurance (Medi-Cal)
The BenefitsCal portal allows you to:
- Submit documents online
- Complete online renewals and periodic reports
- Report changes in household circumstances
- Receive messages from Shasta County staff
- See notices sent from the county
- Print common state forms
- Find help from nearby offices
Some actions need additional contact with a county office. To request an appointment, change an appointment time, or cancel an appointment, please contact your county office directly at 1-877-652-0731.
BenefitsCal allows you to submit documents without creating an account. However, be sure to use the correct case number when you use this option. For questions about your current case number, please contact the Shasta County office at 1-877-652-0731.
BenefitsCal information is offered in multiple languages. To find language options, click on the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the page, which lists "English." Choose your preferred language.
