In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee

The Shasta County In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee was formed in March 2001. This committee, composed of IHSS recipients and providers, community leaders and Shasta County staff, provides recommendations to the County Board of Supervisors and the Health and Human Services Agency where the IHSS program resides. The Advisory Committee was mandated when Assembly Bill 1682 was passed into law in 1999.

Addressing the Advisory Committee

Members of the public may address the committee on any item of interest within the jurisdiction of the committee. Persons wishing to address the committee are requested to submit a speaker request form by 12:45 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Forms are available at 2640 Breslauer Way, or under the 'Forms' section below.
