Tuberculosis Screening

TB skin tests are done on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Call us at (530) 225-5591 to make an appointment. 

The TB skin test costs $52. The fees for TB screenings changed on February 03, 2025.

• You need to come back 48 to 72 hours after your test to have it read. If you don't come back, you will need to take the test again, and you will have to pay for it.
• There is a fee for providing work or school clearance.

• If your test is positive, you may need to get a chest x-ray (you will have to pay for the x-ray).
• There will be a fee for reading the x-ray and for providing work or school clearance.

• In some cases, you might be able to get a Tuberculosis Risk Assessment instead of the skin test, depending on your situation. Call us at (530) 225-5591 for more information.
