In-Home Support Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee
The Shasta County In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee was formed in March 2001. This committee, composed of IHSS recipients and providers, community leaders and Shasta County staff, provides recommendations to the County Board of Supervisors and the Health and Human Services Agency where the IHSS program resides. The Advisory Committee was mandated when Assembly Bill 1682 was passed into law in 1999.
