California Childrens Services (CCS) Case Management/Physical and Occupational Therapy Services

CCS is a statewide medical program which provides diagnostic and medical treatment services, medical case management, and physical and occupational therapy services to children under age 21 with certain chronic medical conditions and physical disabilities. Examples of CCS-eligible conditions include cystic fibrosis, hemophilia, cerebral palsy, heart disease, cancer, and traumatic injuries.

CCS is a federally mandated program, supported by Federal, State, and County tax monies. The CCS Program assists, directs, and pays for medical expenses associated with caring for children with special needs when families are unable to pay for all or part of their care. Medical, financial and residential criteria must be met.
