Has creating music, rhymes or poetry given you light in dark times, or shed light on a hidden struggle? Come celebrate how art heals!

Spoken word artists, poets, rappers, country/western singers, dancers, any and all performers are welcome! First timers are encouraged to get on stage.

When:  Friday, May 19, 2023  |  Performer sign in starts at 5:30 p.m. and the show runs from 6 - 9 p.m. (approximately)

Where: Sunrise Mountain Wellness Center, 1300 Hilltop Drive, Suite 200, Redding (behind Bank of America)

The Hope Is Alive! Open Mic Series are events organized by the Stand Against Stigma Campaign and Committee to raise awareness about mental health struggles, substance use disorders, suicide and suicide loss. We strive to use art and performance to fight stereotypes, promote healing and understanding.
